FC Barcelona to Host Historic Game at Renovated Camp Nou on Saturday

The club confirmed they are set to host at the renovated but unfinished Camp Nou on Saturday. Athletic Bilbao will visit the Basque side in La Liga over two years since relocating to allow renovations to start.

“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

The stadium will not be at full capacity but 45,401 spectators will be allowed to watch based on approved permits. When completed, it will accommodate over 104,000 attendees, up from the previous 99,000. Officials confirmed finished work included a renovated tunnel for players along with upgraded changing facilities.

Stadium Testing

The club conducted a fan-accessible workout at the Camp Nou in early November. The club said they are seeking authorization from Uefa to play their next home Champions League game facing Eintracht in December at the stadium. They have been hosting matches at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
