The Comedy Series Brassic Ends Its Run with Influenced by Tarantino Finale

Joseph Gilgun and Danny Brocklehurst are bringing the curtain down on their humorous show about a tight-knit bunch of endearing rogues running riot in a rural Lancashire town. You might expect the last episode to be a greatest hits victory lap of booze, drugs and cheeky thievery. However, the vibes are distinctly darker as Vinnie (Gilgun) and the crew barricade themselves in a bar with criminal figure Davey MacDonagh for a final 50th installment seemingly influenced by Quentin Tarantino.

The Show Dragons' Den

8pm on BBC One
Dancers from the ballet world enter the den this week, as mothers Laura and Stacey present their line of adaptive dance attire – and cause Peter Jones to become flustered. Then, an ophthalmologist turned innovator has a clever gadget for lost tape ends.

All Creatures Great and Small

9pm on Channel 5
The animal-related escapades are generally good, but this superior period drama earns its corn with emotional character development. A particularly affecting episode intertwines the tales of a lame shire horse and a vanished calf into a more serious storyline centring on the character Tristan, whose actions lead to a fraternal intervention.

The Hack

9pm on ITV1
The journey has been lengthy. But the penultimate episode of this initially sluggish but ultimately compelling phone-hacking drama sees David Tennant’s Nick discovering details about the actions of the News of the World that the other media outlets simply can’t ignore. The situation improves for Dave, who has a surprising new ally.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK

9pm on BBC Three
Prepare for enthusiastic gestures: it’s time to present Peter Pansy – The Musical! That means the pressure is on for the queens to sing, dance, act and finally impress as they get ready for the show. And who better to guest judge than West End stage legend Mazz Murray, together with Graham Norton, Michelle Visage and RuPaul.

The Series The Iris Affair

9pm, Sky Atlantic
Those with a phobia of creepy crawlies will want to skip ahead as episode six begins, before something of a Mexican (or rather Sardinian) standoff ensues, when Cameron forces Iris to exchange her journal for the captured Joy – else she’ll be “shot repeatedly” from the threatening drone controlled by Meski … How to get out of this one?
