Three Athletes Named as Finalists for Young Sports Personality Honour

English soccer star Michelle Agyemang, darts player Luke Littler and batswoman Davina Perrin have been shortlisted for the upcoming Young Sports Personality of the Year award.
These three athletes have been celebrated for their remarkable achievements over the last year.
Agyemang helped the Lionesses secure Euro 2025, Littler claimed the world title for the first time, and Perrin rose to fame with a record-breaking innings.
Littler won the award in 2024 after his remarkable rise.
The finalists were revealed during a live broadcast on a widely-listened-to radio show.
This year's winner will be unveiled on the prestigious sports ceremony show on the 18th of December.
The show will be televised from 19:00 GMT.
Michelle Agyemang

A mere three months after her senior team debut, Agyemang played a dramatic and decisive role in England's run to Euro 2025 glory.
She came off the bench to score vital last-gasp goals in both the last eight and last four matches.
Agyemang's stunning interventions led to her being named the tournament's top young talent.
Afterwards, she was awarded the Golden Girl award for the best young player in Europe.
She was also shortlisted for the Kopa Trophy for the planet's top young female footballer.
Agyemang, who has been playing for Brighton on loan from Arsenal, suffered an ACL injury in October.
"Being nominated for this award is a privilege," said Agyemang. "Thank you to God and I'm thankful for the support I've received from my family, coaches, team-mates and fans."
Littler's Profile

The year started for Littler in spectacular fashion as - at just 17 years old - he became the earliest-ever winner in history.
He secured a comprehensive triumph over Michael van Gerwen in the final.
His later win at the World Matchplay made him only the fifth individual to complete the prestigious PDC Triple Crown.
His success continued - his victory at November's Grand Slam of Darts meant he reached world number one for the maiden occasion.
At 18, he is the most youthful player to do so, shattering the previous record.
"Being nominated for this award again is a huge privilege," stated Littler. "Last year's win was a highlight for me and I've had another unbelievable 12 months. I want to continue elevating darts."

Perrin is one of English cricket's top prospects and burst into the spotlight with an remarkable and historic innings in August.
Her magnificent 42-ball century in The Hundred is the quickest ever by an English female in T20s.
It also stands as the joint third-fastest women's T20 century in a major league or full member T20 international.
Perrin ended up as runner-up in the season's run tally and was named PCA Women's Young Player of the Year.
